Business status.
This setting is currently being added and available in your admin area once you have logged in.
You can update your status to four settings:
- Active
- Your business/service is currently active and running normally. This is the default status unless changed
- Active - but reduced
- You are still operating, but at reduced capacity, or fewer services etc..
- Temporarily closed (*)
- You are closed / not operating, but you intend to re-start sometime in future.
- Permanently closed (**)
- You are closed / not operating and do not intend to restart business soon.
- (*): Your business / service will remain on our database, but after 2 calendar months we'll remove you from the public directory / search.
- (**): Your business / service will remain on our database.
- At the end of the current calendar month, we'll remove your business activity from our index and it will not be searchable, but will be archived
- At the end of 3 full calendar months after this, we'll completely remove your business activity from our database
NOTES:
- The part where you can update your status is working.
- The removal from index / deletion parts are still being worked on. 3 June 2023
Business status for your locations/addresses
If your business has multiple business locations, example:
- 1 Fred Drive
- 64 Climbing Road
- 26 Devonport Street
You can now have the business status for each/any location and not just your entire organisation.
Your business is running fine, however 64 Climbing Road may have had a flood, and cannot open for several weeks.
Select the business location in the pull-down list, and then you can update its status and let people know..
